Grade 1
In Room 4 we use district adopted curriculum and programs. These include California Journeys Reading/Language Arts, Engage NY (Math), Step Up to Writing, Mystery Science, Scholastic News, Meet the Masters (art), The MindUP Curriculum, Lexia, IXL, and Renaissance Learning (STAR/Accelerated Reader). In addition, we use Saxon Math Meeting, Handwriting Without Tears, Education Through Music, Come With Me Science, and teacher created materials.
